Offenbach Street Theatre Festival showcases global talent alongside local artistry
On the 5th of July, Offenbach's city centre will come alive with an array of captivating performances at the International Street Theater Festival. This free, barrier-free event promises a day filled with acrobatics, comedy, dance, and music, attracting artists from around the world.
Highlights of the festival include the dynamic Tridiculous, a group that seamlessly blends breakdance, beatbox, aerial acrobatics, and comedy into a thrilling stage show. The Sugar Horses, a musical project that takes you on a journey through 70 years of music history, is another must-see act. The Kaosclown, known for their unique mix of slapstick, magic, and artistry, will also be entertaining the crowds with their street antics.
For the younger visitors, there will be a variety of activities. Tim Dutzki will host a juggling workshop, while the youth art school mobile will offer creative crafting activities. Locomotion will present the play "The Rat Catcher of Hamelin".
In the Digital Retro Park, visitors can get hands-on and build their own electronic instruments and LED light shows. Throughout the festival grounds, imaginative walking acts will surprise and delight spectators.
