Oerlenbach's Cider Tradition Revitalized; Three Bad Kissingen Projects Get EU Funding

The municipality of Oerlenbach has received a significant boost for its cider-making tradition. Meanwhile, three projects in the Bad Kissingen district have secured EU funding through the LEADER program. However, the identity of the LAG-Management in the Bad Kissingen Kreis remains elusive.

LAG Bad Kissingen, a key driver of rural development, has been selected as a LEADER region for the next funding period, 2023 to 2027. Since its inception in 2001, it has successfully realized nearly 100 projects with LEADER funds, aiming to promote development potential and strengthen crisis resilience in rural areas. The organization's goal is to develop the region as a health, environmental, and tourism location.

Three projects have benefited from this funding. Oerlenbach receives 95,117 euros for the revitalization and mediation of its cider-making tradition. In Rannungen, the project 'Youth meets village' is subsidized with 73,319 euros to establish youth management and involve young people in village development. Additionally, Rannungen receives 53,188 euros to renovate its community center, making it fit for future use. The LAG management supports project development, network work, and funding capability, ensuring these initiatives come to fruition.

LAG Bad Kissingen continues to play a pivotal role in the region's development, with three projects receiving EU funding through the LEADER program. Despite the success, the name of the person holding the role of LAG-Management in the Bad Kissingen Kreis remains unknown, highlighting the need for transparency in leadership positions.
