John Carpenter's "Halloween: The Complete Expanded Collection" to Release on October 3, 2025

John Carpenter, the renowned master of horror film music, is set to release a deluxe box set titled "Halloween: The Complete Expanded Collection" on October 3, 2025. This limited edition collection marks Carpenter's return to film scoring after nearly twenty years.

The box set includes fully expanded editions of the soundtracks for the entire Halloween trilogy, featuring the scores from 2018's Halloween, 2021's Halloween Kills, and 2022's Halloween Ends.

The collection boasts a total of 121 tracks, with 35 unreleased tracks across six vinyl LPs and three digipak CDs. The expanded scores reveal new music cues, with Halloween Kills featuring 25 unreleased tracks and Halloween Ends adding 10 new tracks.

New artwork and packaging for the box set have been designed by Chris Bilheimer, known for his distinctive design work. The set also includes exclusive liner notes and interviews with John Carpenter and director David Gordon Green, enhancing its collector’s value.

Three collectible posters by Creepy Duck Design are included, plus a boxset-exclusive poster design by Chris Bilheimer and a deluxe lenticular cover. The release is available in two vinyl variants named “Dried Blood” and “Toxic Pumpkin”, priced around $155–165; individual expanded soundtracks are also available starting at $34.

John Carpenter, along with collaborators Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies, who scored the trilogy alongside him, will be present for a signing event at Amoeba Hollywood on release day, October 3, 2025.

Two tracks from the expanded collection, “Hunting a Killer” (Halloween Kills) and “Take the Mask” (Halloween Ends), have been shared. This release continues Carpenter's legacy as a master of horror film music and is sure to be a must-have for fans of the Halloween franchise.
