Title: Quentin Tarantino's Lovey-Dovey Cannes Debut with Wife Daniella Pick

Quentin Tarantino (62) and his radiant wife Daniella Pick (41) showed up at the Cannes Festival's opening night, displaying a affectionate public display of affection. The power couple graced the red carpet on the premiere of French opening film "Partir un jour," directed by Amélie Bonnin.

Tarantino, dressed in a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt and bow tie, and his wife in a gown adorned with shimmering appliqués, maintained the dress code for the festival. As the Cannes guest of honor, Tarantino will also pay tribute to the late Western director George Sherman (1908-1991) during the festival.

In 2018, Tarantino and Pick tied the knot, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. They fell in love back in 2009 when Tarantino was on a film promotion tour in Israel for his cult film "Inglourious Basterds." They have since welcomed a son, Leo (5), and a daughter, whose name remains undisclosed. The family's Israeli residence allows Tarantino to split time between Israel and America, balancing his dual roles as family man and filmmaker.

Family's Influence on 'The Maestro' of Cinema

Tarantino has already made an appearance at a film festival this year, attending the Sundance Film Festival in Utah in January for a career interview with film critic Elvis Mitchell. Tarantino made his film festival debut at Sundance in 1992 when "Reservoir Dogs" premiered there.

Since the release of "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" (2019), Tarantino's focus has shifted from work to family. "When I'm in America, I write," he revealed. But in Israel, his role is that of an "Abba" - father. Tarantino's children are the reason why he's postponing the production of his next film. "I don't fancy the idea of embarking on a lengthy trip while they're too young to grasp its significance," he said. He plans to wait until his son is at least six years old before starting production on his final film. His daughter, he claims, is already a prodigy, fully understanding the workings of the film industry.
