Oberstdorf's mountain rescue service had a busy week, handling multiple incidents in the Breitach Gorge and conducting helicopter rescues. A disoriented visitor was among those assisted, while a rowdy bachelor party also required intervention.
Last week, the Oberstdorf mountain rescue service attended to three incidents in the Breitach Gorge. A 55-year-old man was treated for circulatory problems and safely transported out. A 70-year-old woman was also assisted after injuring her knee. Meanwhile, a 55-year-old woman and a man of the same age were rescued by winch from the Gängele due to exhaustion.
The service's busiest day was marked by a rowdy bachelor party at the Enzianhuette. The mountain rescue service and police had to intervene to ensure everyone's safety. In another incident, a 27-year-old hiker was rescued from challenging terrain near the Enzianhuette using the rescue helicopter Christoph 17.
