Oasis should consider including these 10 songs in their Live '25 setlist

As Oasis concludes the first leg of their Wembley Stadium residency tonight, fans are eagerly anticipating the band's performances. The Live '25 tour, described by co-manager Alec McKinlay as the band's final outing, has been filled with classic hits and a few surprises.

Familiar Favourites and Unexpected Gems

The B-side "Fade Away" has been included in the Live '25 setlists, adding a fresh twist to the band's usual lineup. "Fucking In The Bushes", from the album Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, has also made an appearance as the walk-on song.

Despite playing the same set every night, Oasis has managed to keep the audience engaged with a mix of familiar favourites and unexpected gems. "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" could easily take on the role of a mid-gig tearjerker, while "Headshrinker", another B-side, could be a good addition to the setlist in place of "Fade Away".

The Wembley Magic

The Gallagher brothers have played at Wembley Stadium before, but the current shows sound better than ever. The band re-introduced themselves in Cardiff and Manchester before the Wembley shows, and the energy has been palpable.

Potential Additions to the Setlist

"Don't Go Away", an underrated cut from Be Here Now, with its sweeping strings, minor chord acoustic strums, and yearning vocals, could be a proper mid-gig lighter/phone light-waving tearjerker. "All Around The World", despite being overblown, was made to be played on the grandest scale and could be a good second pick in the encore.

"Lyla" is a song that could potentially be included in the setlist, while "Shakermaker" could be great for moments in the first quarter of the set where everyone needs a slight breather but is still happy to holler along. However, "Up In The Sky" from the album Definitely Maybe and "Rockin' Chair", a B-side to "Roll With It", have not been included so far. Noel could potentially sing "Rockin' Chair" and swap it out occasionally for "Talk Tonight".

Unreleased Songs: A Mystery Remains

Despite rumours of unreleased songs, there is no clear confirmation or official statement that such songs will not be performed during the Live '25 tour. The band recently announced a 30th anniversary rerelease of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? including new unplugged versions of classic songs but no mention of unreleased songs being played live or excluded from the tour setlist.

While there are known unreleased demos such as the 1993 "Live Forever" demo that circulates, no indication these or other unreleased songs are planned for the Live '25 tour or explicitly excluded. The band’s discography and past unreleased material do not provide evidence about unreleased tracks set aside from the tour. Social media posts mention unreleased songs and demos in a general promotional context, but not in relation to the Live '25 tour's performance decisions.

As the tour continues, fans will eagerly wait to see if any surprises are in store. Stay tuned for updates!
