The Answers to Today's Connections, game #716

  • YELLOW: Round, Flat Things
  • COASTER, FRISBEE, PANCAKE, RECORD
  • GREEN: Airport Characteristics
  • CAROUSEL, FOOD COURT, GATE, LOUNGE
  • BLUE: Guitar Playing Techniques
  • BEND, PICK, SLIDE, STRUM
  • PURPLE: Characters from "Beauty and the Beast"
  • BEAST, CANDELABRA, CLOCK, TEACUP
  • My rating: Moderate
  • My score: 1 mistake

A FRISBEE might not be flat like the other items in this group, but it's close enough, and this yellow was an easy spot before I had to delve deeper. My error occurred when I grouped fairground rides instead of the characters from "Beauty and the Beast." STRUM, SLIDE, and PICK all seemed related to guitars, but BEND was not immediately apparent. Instead of AIRPORT FEATURES, I aimed for the more obvious connection.
