The Mini Crossword is released at 10 p.m. EST on weekdays and Saturdays, and 6 p.m. EST on Sundays. Players can solve the Across and Down clues to fill the grid, with a timer tracking their progress. Upon completion, a congratulatory message greets them, accompanied by music. Past puzzles are accessible to Games and All Access subscribers.
Clues for the Mini Crossword include 'Exclamation made with a shiver' (BRR), 'Putt 'er there!' (GREEN), and 'Negative attribute, so to speak' (MINUS). The puzzle also features a 'See Also' section, linking to other daily puzzles and NYT game solutions.
