It took me 0:41 to finish today's NYT Mini.
The self-referential nature of the puzzle didn't really float my boat, especially with clues like 7 Across and 3 Down. It's gotta be subtle or humorous, not blatant[2].

Books and social media are valuable resources when you encounter difficult words or need help solving the NYT Mini crossword. While the NYT Mini is a casual, faster-paced version of the extended New York Times crossword, it can still pose challenges for some. For example, a self-referential clue like "Mostly easy puzzles like this" or "Prone to geeking out" can be confusing unless you understand the terminology used (EASY and NERDY, respectively). Therefore, engaging with book recommendations, puzzle blogs, Discord communities, or newsletters can provide additional hints and solutions to help you complete the NYT Mini crossword more efficiently.
