The 63rd New York Film Festival (NYFF) is set to return from September 26 to October 13, 2025, bringing a 17-day programme of new films by celebrated filmmakers and international cinema standouts.
Highlights of this year's festival include the world premieres of several films, such as Radu Jude's Dracula and Kamal Aljafari's With Hasan in Gaza, featured in the Currents section that focuses on contemporary innovative films.
A notable highlight is the Bruce Springsteen biopic, titled "Deliver Me From Nowhere," which promises to offer a unique glimpse into the life of the iconic musician during the creation of his album, Nebraska. Directed by Scott Cooper, the film stars Jeremy Allen White and is one of the most anticipated films of the festival.
Other films to be screened include "Is This Thing On," starring Bradley Cooper and Laura Dern, which explores a couple's separation and an impromptu comedy career. Additionally, "After the Hunt," "Father Mother Sister Brother," and an unspecified title will also be screened.
The festival will also feature films spanning Cannes winners, Venice’s most anticipated, and Sundance highlights, showcasing works by directors such as Luca Guadagnino, Jim Jarmusch, Kathryn Bigelow, Noah Baumbach, Kelly Reichardt, Park Chan-wook, Ira Sachs, and Joachim Trier.
For those interested in attending, passes for the festival are currently on sale, ranging from $350 for six films to $16,500 for Gold status. Pass holders and Film at Lincoln Center members have access to pre-sale periods before general ticket sales on September 18. The general ticket sale begins at 12pm on the same day.
Moreover, a new New York cinema allows booking a private theater with a dinner inspired by the film, offering a unique cinematic experience.
As the festival approaches, keep an eye out for official NYFF announcements for exact screening times, more details about the Bruce Springsteen biopic, and ticket pricing updates. The festival will take place at the Lincoln Center.
