The 37-year-old, who once held the esteemed title as the world's number one female tennis player, shared a heartwarming photo with her family, revealing the gender and name of the newest addition.

The black-and-white photo shows the hands of a family of four intertwined, symbolizing the unity and love that has welcomed the newly-arrived baby boy, named Ben. In her heartfelt caption, Kerber wrote, "Welcome to our family, Ben. Our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude now that you're finally in our arms."

The exciting news quickly spread like wildfire amongst her fellow tennis players and celebrity friends. Boris Becker, the former Wimbledon winner, and Sabine Lisicki, a tennis player herself, were amongst the first to express their congratulations.
