In an exciting development for fans of legal dramas and the dynamic duo of Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning, it has been confirmed that the pair will be collaborating once again in a new series titled "Discretion."

The series, which is currently in production by A24, has secured the rights to an untitled short story by author Chandler Baker (39). The story is set in Dallas and is said to be inspired by Baker's experiences as a corporate lawyer before her writing career.

Details about the plot of "Discretion" are scarce at the moment, but what we do know is that it falls under the genre of legal drama. A24 won a bidding war for the rights to the series, and they are producing the show.

HBO has also secured the rights to another project by Chandler Baker - the book "Whisper Network." Meanwhile, Kristen Wiig is taking on the leading role in the adaptation of Charlotte Baker's book "The Husbands."

Interestingly, "Deadline" reported the news about Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, and "Discretion." This isn't the first time Kidman and Fanning have worked together; they have previously starred in three films: "The Beguiled" (2017), "How to Talk to Girls at Parties" (2017), and "Babygirl" (2024).

Elle Fanning also played Sylvie Russo, a fictional lover of Bob Dylan, in "Like A Complete Unknown" (2024). On the other hand, a film adaptation of Charlotte Baker's short story "Oh. What. Fun" will be released on Amazon Prime Video on December 3rd this year, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Longoria, Felicity Jones, and Chloé Grace Moretz.

Stay tuned for more updates on "Discretion" as more information becomes available.
