North West flaunts a $1M diamond skull necklace gifted by Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian has gifted her 11-year-old daughter North West a stunning collection of custom diamond jewellery for Christmas 2024. The centrepiece—a 106-carat spike skull necklace with glowing blue sapphire eyes—was unveiled by North on Instagram on 25 December. The lavish present has sparked both admiration and debate over the young star’s bold fashion choices.
The necklace, designed by Alex Moss New York, features a striking pendant set with 71.49 carats of natural diamonds and a chain containing 35.38 carats. Blue sapphires form the eyes, giving the piece its distinctive glow. North also received two other custom diamond items: a spike bracelet with 22.76 carats of VVS white diamonds and a matching ring.
Kardashian revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that North played an active role in designing the jewellery. She described her daughter as passionate about experimenting with style. When critics questioned the appropriateness of such extravagant gifts, Kardashian dismissed the backlash, calling it 'such a non-issue' in a public statement.
North’s Christmas jewellery has become a talking point, showcasing her growing influence in fashion. The custom pieces, including the sapphire-eyed necklace, now rank among her most eye-catching accessories. Kardashian’s support for her daughter’s choices suggests this won’t be the last bold statement from the young trendsetter.
