North Texas Braces for Changeable Halloween Weekend, Chilly Nights Ahead

North Texas and Dallas/Fort Worth residents were in for a changeable weekend, with a mix of pleasant and chilly weather leading up to Halloween 2025. The meteorologist behind the forecast remained unnamed in available sources.

The week began with Thursday's high temperature mirroring Wednesday's, reaching the upper 60s. Despite the warmth, Thursday night was expected to be another chilly one, following a pattern of below-normal lows. The lowest temperature recorded on Thursday morning at DFW was 43°F, the coldest since April 8. Freezing temperatures even touched parts of Young and Stephens counties.
