Norris is vying for the summit of the Formula One championship with a score of 200 points.

The 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix played host to an exhilarating race, with McLaren's Lando Norris emerging victorious and securing a one-two finish for the team. This triumph marks a momentous milestone for McLaren, strengthening their position in both the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships.

Norris, who struggled at the start, opted for a daring one-stop strategy that proved instrumental in his victory. He held off intense pressure from teammate Oscar Piastri, narrowly keeping his lead on the final lap despite a close call due to a big lock-up that almost resulted in a collision. Piastri's second-place finish has reduced the gap in the Drivers' Championship to a mere nine points, intensifying the title rivalry ahead of the remaining 10 rounds of the season.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen, who qualified eighth and finished off the podium, has found the going tough this weekend. He trails the McLaren duo by a significant margin, needing over 65 points to catch up.

McLaren's dominance extended to the Constructors' Championship, leading with 516 points, followed by Ferrari, Mercedes, and Red Bull. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who started on pole, suffered from a setup change that slowed him down, eventually finishing fourth after being overtaken by George Russell. Aston Martin also showed strong performance, with Fernando Alonso finishing fifth, their highest of the season.

Lewis Hamilton, who finished the race in 12th place without points, was extremely hard on himself after qualifying 12th on Saturday. He told Sky Sports UK, "The team isn't the problem, the other car is on pole. The team probably needs to change the driver."

In other news, Max Verstappen has renewed his contract with his team, running until the end of 2028. Despite his current struggles, this move indicates his commitment to the team and his ambition to regain his title-winning form.

I'm not sure if Max Verstappen will be able to regain his title-winning form after witnessing his tough weekend at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Despite his renewed contract with Red Bull, he wasn't able to keep up with the performance of the McLaren duo in the sports of racing this time.
