Norqain Unveils NHL-Inspired Chronograph as Its First Watch Under Landmark Partnership
Swiss watchmaker Norqain has launched a special timepiece in collaboration with the National Hockey League (NHL). The Adventure Chrono 41 mm NHL Limited Edition marks the brand's first watch under a new multi-year partnership—the first of its kind for a watch company. Only 1,917 pieces will be made, nodding to the league's founding year of 1917.
The watch's design draws heavily from hockey culture. Its white, 'scratched' dial mimics the worn surface of an ice rink after a game. A small seconds subdial at nine o'clock features a faceoff circle with crossed hockey sticks, adding to the sporty aesthetic. The black rubber strap is even crafted from recycled hockey pucks, reinforcing the connection to the game.
Norqain's ties to hockey run deep. Co-founder Mark Streit, the first Swiss player to win the Stanley Cup, helped establish the brand with a passion for the sport. The company also counts two NHL stars among its shareholders: Sidney Crosby, a three-time Stanley Cup champion, and Roman Josi, the long-serving captain of the Nashville Predators.
This limited-edition release is the first result of Norqain's groundbreaking partnership with the NHL. The collaboration makes the brand the only watchmaker officially linked to the league, setting it apart in the sports-focused luxury market.
The Adventure Chrono 41 mm NHL Limited Edition blends watchmaking craftsmanship with hockey heritage. With only 1,917 pieces available, it targets collectors and fans alike. The partnership also strengthens Norqain's position as a brand deeply connected to the sport.
