Nordhorn's 'Gawks + Laughs' Street Art Festival Returns with International Stars

The 34th International Street Art Festival 'Nordhorn Gawks + Laughs' is set to transform the city center of Nordhorn into a vibrant stage for artists, clowns, and magicians this coming weekend. The event, organized by Rena Meyer from the Cultural Office of the City of Nordhorn, will run from 1 to 6 pm on Saturday, September 6th, and Sunday, September 7th, 2025, and is free for all to enjoy.

Curated by Kathrin Bahr, the festival promises a mix of international stars and exciting newcomers. Some of the performers include Jens Ohle, Fraser Hooper, Hendrick-Jan de Stuntman & Merel Kamp, manoAmano, Tridiculous, Spot the Drop, Mareike Koch, Duo Mio, and A Circus Company. Despite the lack of detailed information about these artists, their presence is sure to bring a diverse range of talents to the festival.

In addition to these acts, walk-acts such as Jochen, the Elephant and Super Bammer: Boris and the Baroness will also be present throughout the city center, adding to the spontaneous and lively atmosphere of the event.

The International Street Art Festival 'Nordhorn Gawks + Laughs' aims to bring people together and provide a short vacation for the soul. With free entry and performances happening spontaneously throughout the city center, it promises to be an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all. The MOKU project also offers free companionship and transport for people with physical disabilities and seniors with cultural interest, ensuring that everyone can participate in this celebration of art and community.
