PATTAYA: ROUGH JUSTICE FOR FOREIGNERS

Getting into a scuffle with a Thai food delivery rider in Pattaya has proved costly for two foreign men, who were slapped with a fine of 15,000 baht each. The incident, unfolding outside a supermarket in Bang Lamung district, turned the beach city into a battleground!

Here's what went down on a sun-soaked Sunday afternoon:

A rider, pedaling his way through the city, claimed a passing car with potential tourists inside, rudely sideswiped his bike. Not content with causing a near-accident, one of the passengers flung a bag of garbage at the hapless motorcyclist!

Understandably irate, our rider kicked his bike's engine and gave chase, hooting all the way. The vehicle eventually pulled over, and the foreign duo, rather than apologizing, started yelling obscenities at the rider, before attacking him!

A brave bystander, a woman, tried to intercede, pleading with the foreigners to cool off. But, alas, their arrogance overcame their senses!

As the situation spiraled out of control, a group of Thai men stepped in, shielding the rider and pushing the foreigners to the ground. The assailants, having an inferiority complex, thought they could run to a nearby supermarket for safety. But there they were, met with the relentless pursuit of some determined Thai men!

Once the cops arrived, the foreigners, now playing the damsel in distress, pleaded for help, stating they were the victims! They were escorted to the Muang Pattaya police station, where they admitted to their misdeeds and footed a 15,000 baht fine each. Their identities were concealed from the public eye.

Surprisingly, upon their initial encounter with the police, the duo claimed to be innocent victims, only to confess to their wrongdoings when questioned further! Intriguing, isn't it?

A Thai motorcyclist, who suffered a sideswipe from a passing car in Pattaya, bravely pursued the foreign culprits who had ripped off and thrown garbage at him. Despite a woman's intervention to calm the chaotic situation, the foreigners continued their aggravating behavior, leading to a confrontation. In a twist of events, the foreigners played the victim in front of the police, claiming innocence, but admitted their misdeeds upon further questioning, ultimately facing a 15,000 baht fine each for their crime-and-justice offense, although their identities remained shrouded in general-news coverage.
