Noah Kahan unveils The Great Divide in intimate Nashville preview

Noah Kahan treated a small group of fans to an exclusive preview of his upcoming album, The Great Divide, at Gold Pacific Studios in Nashville. The intimate event, hosted by Mastercard, gave attendees a first listen to tracks from the highly anticipated release.

The performance took place on Friday, where Kahan played new songs including the title track The Great Divide and Porch Light, a collaboration with Aaron Dessner. Fans also got a behind-the-scenes look at the studio and memorabilia from the album's music video.

The event was part of Mastercard's partnership with Kahan, which began during the 2026 Grammy Awards. Attendees had won their spots through the Hidden in the Great Divide sweepstakes, adding to the excitement of the private show.

Kahan spoke about his love for performing in small, personal settings, calling the studio session a special way to connect with listeners. The album, set for release on April 24, follows his 2022 breakout record Stick Season.

Later this summer, Kahan will kick off The Great Divide tour, with over a million tickets already sold. The tour includes stadium shows and a headlining slot at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, though no other festival appearances have been announced.

The Nashville preview marked one of the first live performances of The Great Divide material. With the album dropping in April and a massive tour on the horizon, Kahan's latest project continues to build momentum. Fans can expect more details about the tour as the release date approaches.
