No Other Suspects Implicated in the Death of the Puri Teenager According to Odisha Police
In a tragic turn of events, a 15-year-old girl from Puri district, Balanga, passed away at AIIMS, Delhi, following severe burn injuries she sustained on July 19. The girl was allegedly abducted and set on fire near the banks of the Bhargavi river, as stated in her mother's First Information Report (FIR) filed at the Balanga Police station.
However, the investigation conducted by the Odisha Police has reached its final stage, and according to their findings, no other person is involved in the girl's death. The exact manner in which the girl caught fire remains unclear in the police report.
Senior police officers visited the spot where the incident occurred, and a Special Investigation Team was constituted to delve deeper into the case. The team utilised scientific methods, including the services of a dog squad, for the collection of evidence at the crime scene.
