German Football Association's Outdated Leadership Criticized: Keller Speaks Out Again
In a scathing interview, former DFB president Fritz Keller voiced his discontent with the current state of the German Football Association (DFB).
"The DFB is primarily ruled by personal relations, not qualifications," claimed Keller, 66, to netzwerk südbaden magazine. "The individual with the favorable connection gets the job, not the person best suited for the role."

Keller also praised "great individuals at the DFB who never gave up, standing strong against all pressure and threats:" Their tenacity, according to Keller, "shows true character."
He further confessed, "I made emotional mistakes, often stemming from my lack of self-control. However, I have no regrets, as I left something behind. Some of those who sought to cover up past misdeeds are no longer in power; in some cases, they've burned out."
