Nizhny Novgorod launches public hotlines for metro and bus inquiries on April 2

The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure in Nizhny Novgorod will host two public hotlines on April 2. Residents can call to ask questions about metro, bus, and trolleybus services. The move follows recent adjustments to transport routes across the city.

One hotline will focus on the Nizhny Novgorod Metro Municipal Enterprise. It opens at 9:00 AM and runs until 5:00 PM, with the number 7 (831) 435-58-39. Callers can seek details on metro operations, schedules, and upcoming changes.

A second hotline, dedicated to broader transport services, will operate from **9:00 AM to 4:00 PM** at **+7 (831) 249-90-05**. This line covers buses and trolleybuses, which have seen route reductions and the introduction of smaller vehicles like Gazelles since **2026**. For real-time updates, residents can also check local **Telegram channels** (e.g., *t.me/transport*) or use apps such as **Yandex GO**. These platforms provide information on delays, alternative routes, and service availability.

The hotlines aim to address public concerns as Nizhny Novgorod adjusts its transport network. Officials encourage residents to use the provided numbers or digital tools for the latest travel details. Both services will be available exclusively on April 2.
