32 Awards Presented in Nizhny Novgorod Region for Achievements in Key Industrial Sectors
A ceremony honoring outstanding contributions to the region's industrial sectors took place as part of a year-end conference held by the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, summarizing the results of 2025.
Gleb Nikitin, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region and Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party, presented the Governor's Honor Standards to enterprises that demonstrated the best performance in 2025. He emphasized that industry remains the backbone of the region's economy and a driver of technological progress, with businesses continuing to implement investment projects and modernize production.

Four companies received commemorative medals and diplomas as laureates of the Nizhny Novgorod Region's I. P. Kulibin Prize: - In the "Invention of the Year" category, patents were awarded for the "Threaded Connection for Oilfield Tubular Products" (developed by Vyksa Steel Works, part of OMK) and the "Mosaic Panel" (created by the Russian Federal Nuclear Center – All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics). - The "Best Utility Model of the Year" went to the "Anti-Turbulence Additive Injection System for Pipelines" patent (Transneft – Verkhnyaya Volga JSC). - The "Best Trademark of the Year" was awarded to the "ZPT" trademark (Plastic Pipe Plant LLC).
Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of Nizhny Novgorod Region, presented the "Honored Industrialist of Nizhny Novgorod Region" breastplate awards. The recipients included Vladimir Gurbich, CEO of Pravdinsky Radio Plant JSC; Alexey Komyakov, chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council at Polet Research and Production Enterprise JSC; Pavel Redko, CEO of Hydroaggregat JSC; Sergei Samoilov, CEO of the Nizhny Novgorod Television Plant named after V.I. Lenin JSC; and Anatoly Chernyshov, CEO of Borsky Pipe Plant JSC.
