Nizhny Novgorod chemical firms eye global deals at Khimia-2025 exhibition

The upcoming International Chemistry Exhibition Khimia in Moscow is set to host five companies from Nizhny Novgorod. Meanwhile, the Kulibin Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the region is planning significant infrastructure developments and export expansions.

Anton Garanin, representing the Kulibin SEZ, showcased the zone's support for the chemical industry at the Khimia-2025 exhibition. Participating Nizhny Novgorod companies include NPI LLC, Poliketon LLC, Russilika LLC, Siyanie LLC, and Pa Ko LLC. Notably, Siyanie LLC has already initiated contact with around 20 potential partners in China, with a contract signing expected soon.

The SEZ, which can accommodate Class I hazardous production facilities, is also planning to build a residential complex for 5,900 residents and a convention and hotel center. This comes as the region's Export Support Center continues to facilitate company participation in exhibitions, with ten such events supported since early 2025. In 2024, similar exhibitions led to 62 companies securing export contracts worth $11.4 million.

The Khimia exhibition provides a platform for regional manufacturers to forge business ties and secure lucrative deals. With the Kulibin SEZ's infrastructure developments and export initiatives, Nizhny Novgorod's chemical industry is poised for growth.
