Here's the buzz surrounding the Indian poker circuit contestants at the ongoing WSOP 2025. As the dust settles on different events, Indian names keep popping up in the money! The latest casualty is Nipun Java, who exited Event #16, taking home a cool $1,201.
Nipun Java, a well-known name in India's poker realm, ranks 4th among Indian poker players and boasts a career cash-in of approximately $3 Million. His most impressive one-time cash was a whopping $270,500, earned back in 2015 at the World Series of Poker Event #46. He's bagged an impressive three WSOP titles to date.
Nipun joins the growing list of Indians making their mark at the WSOP 2025. Earlier, Bhargav Kakani and Sameer Chaturvedi made their presence felt in various events during the World Series of Poker 2025.
Step into Nipun Java's poker journey that spans years. He made his debut in live poker in 2009, finishing second in the Grand Poker Series and pocketing $9,620. Quite impressive, considering this was his very first recorded live game!
