My Nintendo, Nintendo's free rewards program, is offering an exciting opportunity for its members to win some amazing prizes through the My Nintendo Animal CrossingTM Cozy Winter Sweepstakes.
This sweepstakes, sponsored by Nintendo of America Inc., is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 13 years old or older. To enter, participants must be registered My Nintendo members and follow the instructions on the official promotional webpage.
There will be five lucky winners in total, each receiving a K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza LEGO® Set, a Mad Engine Animal Crossing Fleece "Group Names" Pullover Hoodie, and a 62" x 90" Animal Crossing Happy Face Blanket. The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $751.60 USD.
In addition to the sweepstakes, My Nintendo members can also redeem their points for various rewards. For instance, a printable paper mobile for the Donkey Kong CountryTM Returns HD game can be downloaded for 30 Platinum Points, while a virtual background for the same game is available for 80 Platinum Points.
There's also a game-inspired reward available for the Donkey Kong Country Returns: Sticky Notes Cube, which features Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, and is colorfully printed with bananas and a DK barrel. Each cube comes attached to a mini "banana pallet." This reward can be redeemed with 600 My Nintendo Platinum Points.
Moreover, Pikmin-themed wallpapers are available for free download using Platinum Points. The Donkey Kong CountryTM Returns HD game wallpaper can be downloaded for 50 Platinum Points.
