In the picturesque Imeretinskaya Bay, the Rosa Khutor resort's sea beach stands out as a haven for guests seeking a blend of safety, relaxation, and adventure.

The beach is equipped with facilities catering to guests with disabilities, featuring ramps and wooden paths leading seamlessly to the sea. This attention to detail is just one of the many ways the resort ensures the safety of its guests is a top priority.

The Rosa Khutor sea beach sports club organised a thrilling water rescue competition this year, which highlighted the team's exceptional skills. The event included a new discipline, the "lifesaver relay race", showcasing teamwork and quick response abilities. The Rosa Khutor team successfully defended their title as champions, demonstrating their expertise in traditional rescue skills and the new relay format.

Daily shift briefings at the beach involve practicing water rescue techniques, timed swims, and first aid training using a specialized mannequin. According to Roman Fedьko, director of the Rosa Khutor resort's sea beach, these practices ensure the team is always ready to respond to any situation.

The beach offers a variety of recreational activities, including stand-up paddleboarding and diving. Sun loungers, umbrellas, shaded areas, towels, and comfortable changing rooms are available for guests to enjoy. A children's play area adds to the family-friendly atmosphere.

A shuttle service is provided for guests staying at Rosa Khutor hotels during the summer season, making the sea beach easily accessible. The beach is monitored by a dedicated team of 16 lifeguards, including senior lifeguards Boris Matosyan and Ruslan Vasilykov, as well as lifeguards Vladimir Tsepaev and Kirill Razgonov. They keep a watchful eye over 300 meters of beachfront from two towers and a boat.

The competitions held in honour of International Water Rescue Day on July 31, featured swimming freestyle to a buoy and back, operating a rescue boat, rescuing a drowning person in stormy conditions using an Alexandrov's end, demonstrating actions during drowning, including artificial ventilation and chest compressions. These competitions serve as a testament to the team's dedication to their craft and their commitment to ensuring the safety of all beach guests.

The sports club at Rosa Khutor's sea beach hosted an exhilarating water rescue competition, displaying the team's extraordinary sports-analysis skills in both traditional and new disciplines. Daily training sessions on the beach are focused on water rescue techniques, first aid, and timed swims, ensuring the team remains ready for any situation.
