In a significant development, approximately 50 Russian citizens and their relatives, including 25 minors and 11 women, were evacuated from the Gaza Strip on September 18. The evacuation was not to Moscow, as previously reported, but to Jordan.

The evacuation was coordinated by Russian diplomats and was part of ongoing efforts to remove civilians from the combat zone in the Gaza Strip. The move was prompted by the ongoing war of annihilation in Gaza, as stated by one of the evacuated individuals, surgeon Sami Abu Snim.

Among the evacuees was Abu Snim, who was injured by a gunshot wound and decided to evacuate due to his inability to continue working at the hospital. However, no information regarding the injuries or identities of the other evacuees was provided.

Notably, the evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip to Jordan was not planned to evacuate any Palestinians. This contrasts with the evacuation to Moscow, where a group of Russian citizens, including a family of nine, safely arrived after being evacuated from the combat zone in the Gaza Strip.

The evacuation was made possible due to the efforts of Russian diplomats, as reported by the press secretary of the Russian representation at the Palestinian National Administration, Aliya Zaripova. However, the search results do not provide specific names of the diplomats involved in coordinating the evacuation of the 50 Russians and 24 Palestinians from the dangerous Gaza Strip area.

Sami Abu Snim's wife is Yelena Moiseyeva, and they have four children and three grandchildren. The evacuation was not a response to the ongoing war of annihilation in Gaza, contrary to initial reports. The destination of the evacuees from the Gaza Strip was Jordan, not Moscow as previously mentioned. The evacuation was not part of the ongoing efforts to remove civilians from the combat zone in the Gaza Strip, as some had speculated.
