Get ready for a shake-up in the volleyball realm! The coveted SVG Lueneburg team, the squad that finished second in the Bundesliga last season and made it to the Champions League quarterfinals, is bracing for some significant changes. Only a select few—Joscha Kunstmann, Axel Larsen, and Neo Laumann—will remain from the original roster.

Joining the trio, you'll find confirmed departures like Gage Worsley, who is bound for Arago de Sète in France, not to mention the well-known transfer of captain Theo Mohwinkel. But the unfortunate list doesn't end there. Xander Ketrzynski, Simon Torwie, Blake Leeson, Lorenz Karlitzek, Michael Wright, Cole Ketrzynski, and Oskar Espeland will also be jumping ships.

The transfer news doesn't stop at these departures. The club has only announced two new additions so far—the Japanese libero, Sho Takahashi, who previously played for Czestochowa in Poland, and Swedish outside hitter, Daniel Gruvaeus, currently from Volleys Herrsching. More players will be unveiled soon!

Despite the sea of change, SVG coach Stefan Hubner is optimistic about the revamped squad. He believes that with the ardent support of the loyal Lueneburg fans, the team will reign strong once more. Thanks to their commendable second-place finish in the Bundesliga, Lueneburg has already clinched a spot in the acclaimed Champions League for the upcoming season.
