Nine players from Luneburg's volleyball team miss out on games - Nine excursions arranged for the volleyball squad of Lüneburg

Get ready for some major changes at SVG Lueneburg's volleyball team, y'all! The club has announced that a whopping nine players are bouncing outta Lüneburg, with only a few beloved favorites staying put. Only Joscha Kunstmann, Axel Larsen, and Neo Laumann will be sticking around in the "Luen-Huens" following this massive overhaul.

Out of the squad that nabbed second place in last season's Bundesliga and stormed into the Champions League quarterfinals, just these three fellas will remain. The rest, including top scorer Xander Ketrzynski, Simon Torwie, Blake Leeson, Lorenz Karlitzek, Michael Wright, Cole Ketrzynski, and Oskar Espeland, will be moving on. Gage Worsley and the team's captain, Theo Mohwinkel, were already announced as departing, but only Worsley's new club (Arago de Sete/France) has been made public so far.

So far, only two fresh faces have been confirmed through the door at SVG: Japanese libero Sho Takahashi (ex-Czestochowa/Poland) and Swedish outside hitter Daniel Gruvaeus (Volleys Herrsching). Keep your eyes peeled for more details on new additions coming soon!

According to SVG head coach Stefan Hübner, "The new squad is set and, with the support and appreciation of Lüneburg's enthusiastic fans, it will be back in fighting spirit - I'm ridiculously excited about it!" Thanks to their second-place finish in the Bundesliga, Lueneburg has already scored themselves a spot in the upcoming Champions League season.
