A Light Sprinkling of Snow on Feldberg – Just Morning Dew

Overnight Snowfall Coats Feldberg; Stormy Conditions Persist into Morning - Nightfall on Feldberg brings down snow; Storm arises solely in the morning
Overnight, a light sprinkling of snow graced the Feldberg in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district, according to Germany's Weather Service. However, snowflakes were nowhere to be seen at the Bismarck monument's peak in the morning. A weather expert revealed that the exact quantity of snow that fell on the Feldberg is uncertain due to a malfunctioning sensor.
Despite the lack of snow, frost and thick fog were prevalent during the early morning, reported a dpa journalist. The German Weather Service (DWD) reported wind speeds reaching 75 kilometers per hour on the mountain. The police reported no incidents of traffic disruptions due to ice.
In the north, the skies will be partly cloudy.
The DWD predicts clouds and occasional rain for southern Baden-Württemberg on Tuesday, and an umbrella is advised. In the north, the skies will remain partly cloudy. Temperatures will fluctuate between a chilly 7 degrees in the mountains to a balmy 17 degrees in Kurpfalz, according to the DWD. Oberschwaben will experience strong winds, while the Feldberg area will encounter stormy conditions.
Similar conditions are expected on Wednesday, with scattered clouds and light rain south of the Danube. DWD forecasters predict temperatures ranging from 8 degrees in the mountains to a comfortable 17 degrees in Kurpfalz, with strong winds blowing across the Black Forest peaks.
Thursday will bring light rain to the Black Forest, Swabian Alb, and Allgäu, with temperatures ranging from 10 degrees in the mountains to 17 degrees near the Neckar.
On Friday, the north will remain partly cloudy and relatively dry. However, from southern Baden to Oberschwaben, it's a good idea to keep an umbrella handy, as the DWD expects scattered rain.
