Nicole Kidman Seeks Primary Custody of Daughters
Nicole Kidman, the renowned actress, has filed for primary custody of her two younger daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, in Nashville. This development comes over two decades after her divorce from actor Tom Cruise and nearly as long since her marriage to country music star Keith Urban.
Kidman and Cruise, who met on the set of 'Days of Thunder' and married in 1990, adopted daughter Isabella in 1992 and son Connor in 1995. The couple divorced in 2001, with Cruise citing irreconcilable differences. Kidman admitted she was 'so impulsive and naive' when she married Cruise at 22, and she experienced career success following their divorce.
Kidman met Urban in 2005, and they had a quick engagement before marrying in 2006. They share two daughters together: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Despite the split from Urban, Kidman still loved Cruise five years after their divorce. She had tried to save their marriage but Cruise insisted on leaving.
Kidman's application for primary custody of their daughters was filed in Nashville on September 30, 2025. The actress, known for her roles in films like 'The Hours' and 'Big Little Lies', has had a successful career and is now navigating a new chapter in her personal life.
