In an exciting development for fans of the beloved 1998 film, "Practical Magic," Warner Bros. is backing the production of its sequel, titled "Babygirl." The film, set to hit theaters on September 18, 2026, will see the return of the Owens sisters, played by Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock, alongside the returning aunts portrayed by Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing.

Nicole Kidman, in a conversation with PEOPLE Magazine, shared that the sequel is being supported by Warner Bros. in going back and then expanding it. She also revealed that the characters in the film will be referred to as "witches."

Joining the cast are some exciting new additions, including Joey King, Maisie Williams, Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod. Kidman and King have previously worked together on the film "A Family Affair."

In the sequel, Kidman described Joey King as "lovely." However, Kidman did not specify the roles of Kidman, Bullock, or King in "Babygirl."
