The Golden Knights also added Mateo Nobert, a forward prospect from Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the QMJHL, in the third round (85th overall). During the 2024-25 season, Nobert posted the fourth-best points (67) on his team.
Another notable addition is Gustav Sjoqvist, a Swedish defenseman from Stockholm. Sjoqvist led all defensemen with 11 goals in Sweden's J20 Nationell league. He also boasts extensive international experience with Team Sweden across multiple junior levels.
Alexander Weiermair, a forward from Los Angeles, transferred from the University of Denver to Portland of the WHL. In the regular season, Weiermair recorded 46 points, and added 23 more in 18 playoff games, helping Portland reach the Western Conference Championship.
