In an exciting development for sports and NFT enthusiasts, NFL superstar Tom Brady has announced the launch of his latest NFT collection, titled "Live Forever: The Tom Brady Origins Collection." The collection, available on the DraftKings marketplace, offers a unique opportunity for fans to own a piece of Brady's early NFL days.

The collection comprises 16,600 memorabilia items, with possibilities for the mystery boxes including Tom Brady's College Resume, Combine Stopwatch, Rookie Draft Card, Combine Jersey, and Combine Cleats. For those with a Preseason Access Pass, the mystery container is available for purchase on DraftKings, with the collection opening for collectors on Dec. 7, 2021, at 5 pm ET. The public drop will follow on Dec. 9.

Brady and his team are vocal supporters of the crypto-system, and the new collection is no exception. In a long-term deal, Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen have partnered with crypto exchange FTX. Brady himself has previously been involved with FTX, making him the sole individual identified in this partnership.

Brady's foray into the NFT world began with the launch of his platform, Autograph, in April 2021. The platform, which supports sports stars like Naomi Osaka, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, skateboarder Tony Hawk, and his Tampa Bay colleague Rob Gronkowski, has been a success.

The "Live Forever: The Tom Brady Origins Collection" offers five types of rarity for each collectible: Carbon, Platinum, Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby. An individual who gathers five items of the same rarity by the "Activation Deadline" will earn an Immortal Statue of that rarity.

When asked about the potential oversaturation of the NFT market, Brady joked about wanting his collection to sell out faster than Gronk's. The mystery boxes in the collection can be unlocked from December 14, 2021, onwards.
