Chris Jones Opens Up About Personal Life and Future Goals at Chiefs Training Camp

Chris Jones, the three-time Super Bowl champion and six-time Pro Bowler defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs, shared some personal insights during the team's training camp in August 2025.

Jones, who is entering his 10th season with the Chiefs, spoke candidly about his desire for love and the possibility of marriage. Despite the challenges he faced in his personal life, Jones expressed a heartfelt wish to find a life partner and start a new chapter.

The revelation came after the cheating allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Sheawna Weathersby, were first reported in March 2025. Weathersby, who has a history of harassment, stalking, and disrespect towards Jones, accused him of infidelity, which she stated was the reason for their split some time between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025.

Weathersby also shared that she had been contacting Jones and his close friends from text free apps and fake Instagram pages, further straining their co-parenting arrangement. Jones, however, has not publicly addressed the cheating allegations.

During the training camp, Jones was asked a question by the Chiefs' social media team: "What's one thing on your bucket list you haven't completed yet?" In response, Jones expressed his wish to complete his bucket list item of finding love and getting married.

Meanwhile, other Chiefs players have their own aspirations. Linebacker Brandon George expressed an interest in visiting Brazil, while cornerback Jacobe Covington expressed a desire to go skydiving. Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman George Karlaftis, on the other hand, expressed an interest in going to Japan.

As for Jones, he is currently focusing on his professional career and is on track to be the starting LT for the Chiefs. Last season, Jones had five sacks in 15 games, and his experience and skill are expected to be crucial for the team's success in the upcoming season.
