San Francisco 49er ex-wide receiver Chris Conley, after a whopping 10 years in the league, has made the big announcement - he's calling it quits on football. In a heartfelt message on social media, he shared that he accomplished his childhood dream of playing 10 seasons in the NFL[1].

"Years ago, I wrote down a list of goals. Goal number one - play 10 years in the NFL. Mission accomplished, time for a new challenge," Conley shared[1]. His agent, Jonathan Perzley, confirmed to NFL Network that Conley will enroll at the University of Georgia to chase his ambition of becoming a filmmaker[1].
"Nope, it ain't a dream, it's reality, y'all! God doesn't make mistakes, and I'm grateful he's proven that throughout my career," concluded Conley[1]. A dream truly realized!

Film industry, here we come! Prior to his football career, Chris Conley played for the Bulldogs at the University of Georgia, amassing 117 receptions for 1,938 yards and 20 touchdowns over 49 games[1]. The ex-Niner was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs, and also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, and Tennessee Titans[1].
Conley graced the Super Bowl stage once, in a valiant but unsuccessful attempt against his former team, the Chiefs in 2024. He recorded one pass for 18 yards in the Niners' 25-22 loss[1]. In his career, Conley totaled 226 receptions for an impressive 2,998 yards[1].
