Even Zurich, a former frontrunner, dropped out of the race, as EuroNews reported.
The venue for all the excitement? You guessed it! The St. Jakobshalle, a 12,000-seater wonder, will be transformed into Eurovision central. But that's not all, because the nearby football stadium and the Steinenvorstadt entertainment district will also join the fun. The latter will transform into a "Eurovision Street," hosting a local musicians stage on the Barfüsserplatz.
