EURO 2024 Ticket Rush: Swift Action Needed for DFB Fans
Euro 2024 group match tickets for the German national team are set to hit the market again at 10 a.m., with haste being the order of the day for DFB supporters. Initially, the fan club members of the national team will have exclusive access to these tickets. But after the draw, alternative avenues to secure a spot in the stadium for the European Championship open up.
Ticket Quantity and Costs
Approximately one million tickets are now up for grabs. Each association will receive 10,000 tickets per match from UEFA, ensuring ample opportunities for the fans of the national team to attend the three matches against Scotland (June 14 in Munich), Hungary (June 19 in Stuttgart), and Switzerland (June 23 in Frankfurt). Prices for group stage tickets range from €30 to €200, while the opening match against Scotland comes with a €50 to €600 price tag.
Leftover Tickets
Remaining tickets become available through the UEFA portal for all 51 matches, including the final on July 14 in Berlin. No specifics regarding the number of leftover tickets are available, but they'll be back in the market once the first sales phase concludes.
Who Can Apply?
Only fans affiliated with the official national team fan club, newly formed fan clubs, or those who have registered for the tournament are eligible for DFB tickets. The registration deadlines for enthusiasts have passed, but those interested in the UEFA tickets can still apply.
How to Get Tickets?
For DFB fans with bonus points, the allocation process commences with 11 points holders getting priority until December 7. The 7 to 10 points holders follow suit, and all other fans and tournament registrants have until December 15 to secure their tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you missed the initial ticket purchase round, fear not; you can still apply for the UEFA tickets on the official EURO 2024 portal up until December 12. A random draw among eligible applicants will take place in January.
