Oasis Reunion Tour: Liam Gallagher Calls Out the "NME"

Let's cut right to the chase — the Oasis reunion tour is nearly here! According to a scoop by British music mag "NME," we may have some insight into who'll join brothers Noel (57) and Liam Gallagher (52) on stage.

Among the potential players, veteran bassist Andy Bell (60) has caught our attention. A founding member of shoegaze band Ride, he took on the bass role from Oasis' original bassist and founding member Paul McGuigan (53) back in '99. After Oasis disbanded, he moved on to another project, Beady Eye.

Guitars Galore and a Fresh Face

Gem Archer (58), the second guitarist in Oasis since '99, is said to join forces once more. He later teamed up with Noel Gallagher post-Oasis clash in the band High Flying Birds. Additionally, Paul "Bonehead" Arthur (59), who previously held Archer's position until '99, and has now allegedly hopped on board for the reunion tour.

The drum kit spot appears to be filled by a new face, as hinted by Liam Gallagher himself: Joey Waronker (55). Known for his work with Beck, R.E.M., Elliott Smith, and Thom Yorke's Atoms For Peace, this band is stoked to have him on board, supposedly.

Liam's Hunt for the Inside Scoop

The "NME" source causing a ruckus, though? That's none other than Liam Gallagher himself! He's extended an exclusive interview invitation to the newspaper if they're willing to spill the beans about their source. In another tweet, he wrote: "It's not the lineup announcement that's bugging me. I can spill that now. It's the line about a source from within the band and tour that's really getting my goat."

Whether the "NME" report holds water or not, Liam's kept mum on the matter. He's even had a laugh about it, announcing the entire roster of Oasis drummers as the lineup!

The Oasis '25 Live Reunion Tour is set to commence on July 4 in Cardiff and will traverse the UK before heading to the states, down under, and across Asia.
