Joe Heller, a renowned editorial cartoonist, has made a significant impact in the world of journalism. Based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Heller is the most successful self-syndicated cartoonist in the United States.

Heller's career began in 1985 when he joined the Green Bay Press-Gazette as an editorial cartoonist. After 28 years of service, he was unfortunately laid off in July 2013. Undeterred, Heller continued to produce cartoons through his own syndicate, Heller Syndication.

Today, Heller's cartoons are distributed to over 400 newspapers across the nation. His work is frequently reprinted in major publications such as USA Today, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post. He is also a regular featured cartoonist for the NKyTribune.

Heller's talent has been recognised with numerous awards. He has won 10 Best of Gannett awards, eight Milwaukee Press Club awards, and two Honorable mentions for the John Fischetti Award. These accolades are a testament to his dedication and skill as an editorial cartoonist.

Despite no longer being employed by a newspaper since 2013, Heller continues to create thought-provoking and humorous cartoons from his home in Green Bay, where he lives with his wife, Pamela.
