The British electronic duo, Depeche Mode, is set to release their new concert film, "Depeche Mode: M," in cinemas across more than 60 countries on October 28, 2025.

This highly anticipated film, which captures the band's three sold-out shows at Mexico City's Foro Sol Stadium during their "Memento Mori" tour in 2023, will be shown in over 2,500 cinemas, including IMAX theaters.

"Depeche Mode: M" premiered earlier at the Tribeca Festival in June 2025 and is directed by acclaimed Mexican filmmaker Fernando Frías. The film delves into the group's music and Mexican culture, exploring the connection between the band's music, Mexican culture, and themes of mortality, inspired by Depeche Mode's 2023 album "Memento Mori."

Sony Music Entertainment has commended the film, describing it as an intense musical and spiritual journey. Lead singer of Depeche Mode, Dave Gahan, also praised Fernando Frías' work, calling it "truly wonderful."

The film demonstrates the profound connection between music, impermanence, and Mexican tradition. It is expected to offer a unique and immersive cinematic experience for fans.

Tickets for the film will go on sale starting September 17, 2025. The filming took place over the past two years.

"Depeche Mode: M" is not a typical live performance recording. Instead, it offers a thought-provoking exploration of the timeless, multicultural impact of Depeche Mode. The film's release will span over 60 countries, making it accessible to fans worldwide.
