Newcomers Experience Leap into the Unknown

The countdown to the 2025 USPA National Skydiving Championships is on, and excitement is building among skydiving enthusiasts across the nation. This prestigious event, scheduled to take place from October 15 to November 1 at Skydive Arizona and October 7-12 at Skydive Elsinore, promises a thrilling display of aerial acrobatics and competition.

The Championships are more than just a competition; they serve as a proving ground for training plans, gear setup, team chemistry, and coaching philosophies. New teams, coaches, and gear manufacturers can get noticed or receive real-world feedback at the Championships.

At Skydive Elsinore, spectators can witness Canopy Formations, Accuracy Landing, Wingsuit Flying (Performance & Acro), and Speed Skydiving. Skydive Arizona events will feature Canopy Piloting & Freestyle, Artistic Events, Formation Skydiving (all categories), Vertical and Mixed Formation Skydiving. The Championships also include FS (4-way, 8-way, 10-way, and 16-way), VFS & MFS, Artistic, Wingsuit Flying, Speed Skydiving, Canopy Piloting & Canopy Piloting Freestyle, Canopy Formations, and Accuracy Landing.

First-time attendees are advised to review USPA's Basic Safety Requirements before attending. The Championships are a competitive event where U.S. skydiving standards evolve, and results can factor into selection for U.S. Teams under USPA's authority for international competition.

Skydive Elsinore, one of California's most iconic dropzones, and Skydive Arizona, one of the most respected dropzones globally, will be hosting this year's event. The Championships attract a diverse range of competitors, making it a truly global event.

While the detailed schedule for the 2025 USPA National Skydiving Championships is not yet available, a pre-nationals competition is scheduled for August 2–3, 2025, in Houston, TX, allowing remote teams to compete from their home dropzones as a tune-up for the Nationals.
