"GTA VI" Setting Trailer View Records on YouTube

The gaming community has been buzzing with excitement for what feels like an eternity about the upcoming release of "Grand Theft Auto VI" (GTA VI). In a testament to its popularity, it marked the most-viewed game reveal in 24 hours, surpassing the previous record of 90.4 million views held by another YouTube sensation, Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast. Moreover, the trailer obtained around 8.9 million likes within the first 24 hours, establishing itself as the most popular conferring game trailer of all time in terms of likes.

GTA VI dethrones MrBeast's record

MrBeast, the YouTube megastar, was not far behind in acknowledging GTA VI's trailblazing achievement. Touting its success on the X platform, MrBeast enthusiastically shared that the "GTA VI" trailer had surpassed his own 24-hour views record of 59.4 million, as the clip already reached 70 million views within approximately 16 hours.

Developer Rockstar Games officially revealed that GTA VI would be launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025.
