The GKG Uzbroeder hosted a festive New Year's reception on an unspecified date, drawing a large crowd of carnival enthusiasts. The event, held in Mertensgasse, was marked by a series of captivating program points and the presence of several notable personalities.
Mayor Josef Hinkel was among the dignitaries who delivered a special program point in the afternoon. He was joined by Heinz Hülshoff, Max Weyers, and the Schlossturmgarde, who provided musical accompaniment for the occasion.
The children's prince couple of the "Närrischen Schmetterlinge" also contributed to the event's entertainment. The Schmetterlinge, a mischievous group, were present, adding a touch of whimsy to the festivities.
President André Strzoda welcomed the guests, setting the tone for a lively celebration. The local "Em Poetzke" in Mertensgasse was particularly crowded on the day, reflecting the event's popularity.
The Prince's couple attended the event with their entourage, much to the delight of the members of the KG Regenbogen. The presence of the Prince's couple, along with the Düsseldorf "Tollitäten", the Dreigestirn Schmetterlinge with the children's prince couple and dance guard, the prince couple from Langenfeld, the Club der Sellerieprinzen of the market women with Sellerieprinz David, the Benrather Schlossgrafen couple, the Kaiserswerther Burggrafen couple, the prince couple of the 11 Pille from Angermund, and the Reizholzer Quatschkopp, made the event a true carnival spectacle.
The highlight of the evening was the appointment of Michael Laumen as the new honorary senator of the Uzbroeder. Stefan Kleinehr held the laudation for this significant occasion, praising Michael Laumen's contributions to the carnival community. Anne Laumen, Michael's wife, was also in attendance to celebrate the momentous occasion.
This New Year's reception at GKG Uzbroeder was a memorable event, showcasing the vibrant carnival spirit of Düsseldorf. Information about the New Year's celebration of GKG Uzbroeder on January 5 is not publicly available, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next carnival event in Mertensgasse.
