A Glimpse into "Maxton Hall" Season Two

In this mouth-watering preview, only 20 seconds long, we catch a delicious snippet of the action-packed storyline to come. The elite institution of Maxton Hall is once again lovingly depicted, with our beloved protagonists, Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James (Damian Hardung), radiating a blissful haven of romance. But all is not as it seems, as our naive Ruby catches James in a steamy liplock with another woman at a wild campus party. Oh, the drama!

According to the official plot synopsis, Ruby is on cloud nine after their shared night in Oxford, but James' family life takes a tragic turn, and he unwittingly drags Ruby back into the harsh reality of their tumultuous relationship. Spoiler alert: Ruby is devastated.

Lead actor Damian Hardung has already hinted that the new episodes will be darker and more emotionally intense than the first season's. In an interview on the German podcast "Short Take," he confirmed that his character will be dealing with a lot of grief and emotional turmoil[1].

The second season is based on "Save You," the pulse-pounding second novel by the enigmatic Mona Kasten (33). Joining our beloved cast members, Sonja Weißer, Ben Felipe, and Fedja van Huet, will also grace our screens. The mastermind behind the camera is, once again, the visionary Martin Schreier.
