Get ready, gamers! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are gearing up for their Season 5 launch on August 7, 2025, at 9 AM PST. This new season promises to revitalize gameplay variety, introduce fresh tactical depth, and conclude Black Ops 6’s ongoing narrative.
New Weapons and Scorestreaks
Warzone welcomes the GPR 91 assault rifle, praised for its sniper support with reduced recoil and ammo benefits. A new scorestreak weapon, an explosive-tip combat bow, is also introduced in multiplayer. Two additional weapons will be available via the Season 5 battle pass for Warzone.
New Maps for Black Ops 6 Multiplayer
The new season brings several exciting map additions to Black Ops 6 multiplayer. These include:
- Runway (6v6): A medium-sized map set at a partially destroyed airport terminal and tarmac, featuring a conveyor belt mechanic for strategic movement.
- Exchange (6v6, 2v2): A tightly packed marketplace map.
- World Motor Dynasty (WMD) (6v6): A remastered classic Black Ops map.
- Jackpot (6v6): An existing map receiving an in-season update.

New Modes in Black Ops 6

The new season will feature a content-rich update with new weapons, maps, and modes, providing a nostalgic bonus for long-time fans of the franchise. The ABR A1 assault rifle will be available at the launch of Season 5, and Operator Sims returns, wielding the newly introduced PML 5.56.
Mid-Season Additions
The Gravemark .357 revolver will be added mid-season in Season 5. Snipers Only and Cranked Moshpit, returning fan-favourite playlists, will rotate throughout the season.
Zombies Mode Updates
In Zombies mode, players will get access to the futuristic Gorgofex energy weapon. A new boss, Uber Klaus, a towering undead enemy equipped with a mechanised exosuit, will be faced in Zombies mode.
Beyond Black Ops 6 and Warzone
