Lucky Iris, the Leeds-based electropop duo from the UK, has added another hit to their growing discography with the release of their latest single, "i just want to dance". The track, released via Launchpad+ in partnership with EMI North, marks another milestone in the duo's career.

Comprising Maeve Florsheim (vocals and lyrics) and Jasper Exley (music and production), Lucky Iris was formed during the COVID-19 lockdown and began performing live in 2021. The duo reconnected at university after meeting earlier in school, and their music has since been captivating audiences across the UK.

Lucky Iris's discography now includes the singles "give me something to believe in", "universal", "i guess i like you (a lot)", and "10,000 Hours (Lucky Iris Rework)". Their latest EP, "day to night", was released earlier in 2025, and "i just want to dance" follows as the next exciting addition.

Notable collaborations and partnerships have been a part of Lucky Iris's journey. Their single "universal" was mixed by Richard Wilkinson, who has worked with artists like Adele and Kaiser Chiefs. The duo has also contributed a reworked version of "10,000 Hours" to the ongoing fundraising effort for Ukraine's fight against the modern-day axis of evil.

As of now, Lucky Iris has not announced a full album release. However, their continued release of EPs and singles indicates a promising future for the duo. Fans can look forward to more music from Lucky Iris as they continue to make their mark on the electropop scene.
