Crime Thriller Debuts 'Tatort', Kicking off New Franconian Season - "New Franken-Crime kick-starts the season of 'Tatort'"
In an exciting turn of events, the upcoming "Tatort" episode, titled "Ich sehe dich," will air on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 8:15 PM on Das Erste. This instalment marks a new beginning for the Franconian "Tatort" series, as Fabian Hinrichs takes on the role of Felix Voss, investigating a gruesome discovery near Nuremberg.
Felix Voss will be working without his long-time partner Paula Ringelhahn, played by Dagmar Manzel, who has recently left the team. However, he will not be alone in this case, as he is assisted by Wanda Goldwasser, played by Eli Wasserscheid. Wanda Goldwasser brings her analytical approach to the table, providing valuable support to Felix Voss.
The episode opens with the discovery of a skeletonized corpse, two meters deep in the earth. The victim is identified as 37-year-old Andreas Schönfeld, a bicycle dealer who had been missing for two years.
Catharina Schuchmann co-wrote the script for this riveting episode, while Max Färberböck and Danny Rosness directed the Sunday thriller. Sigi Zimmerschied plays Felix Voss's current driver in the new season, and a special witness, the blind Lisa Blum (Mavie Hörbiger), also appears in the investigation.
