Introducing the Nordkapp Coupe 830: A Stylish and Versatile Scandinavian Day Boat

The Nordkapp Coupe 830, a sleek day boat designed with aggressive lines and an enclosed helm, has made its debut at the Dusseldorf Boat Show. This Scandinavian-inspired vessel, a smaller counterpart to the Nordkapp 905, promises year-round usability, high performance, and premium features.

Measuring approximately 8.30 meters (27ft 3in) in length and boasting a beam of about 2.92 meters (9ft 7in), the Coupe 830 offers notable spaciousness on board. With a draft of around 0.58 meters (1ft 11in) and a displacement of around 2,560 kg (light), this boat is designed for smooth sailing and manoeuvrability.

Typically powered by twin outboard engines, such as 2 x 200-250 hp Mercury Verado V6 engines, the Coupe 830 delivers a standout combination of power and handling. A single 300-400 hp outboard option is also available, ensuring flexibility to suit various power preferences.

Key features include a Garmin 12" navigation system, Fusion radio with 4 speakers, bow and aft sun decks, a refrigerator, and an option for a pantry with a cooker. The aft end of the boat is entirely free for a proper dinette due to the two side doors in the pilothouse, providing ease of access and versatility.

The bow space offers a secure island sunbed for a couple to relax in comfort, while the aft cockpit features modular furniture that can be removed from the deck and left shoreside. The deck arrangement is remarkably better resolved compared to the flagship model, and the boat is equipped with handy side seats in the dinette area.

The pilothouse features two side doors for easier single-handed helming, and the two helm seats rotate to join the dinette space, converting it into a potential accommodation for a family of four for long weekend cruises. The low-level deck keeps headroom very generous in the pilothouse.

The new Nordkapp Coupe 830, launched at the Dusseldorf Boat Show in January, boasts a big one-piece aft window, providing an expansive view of the surroundings. The boat is also equipped with handy storage beneath the deck, and a gas burner and sink emerge from beneath the co-pilot seat.

The Coupe 830, with its combination of specifications and features, positions itself as a premium, versatile day boat designed for performance and comfort in Scandinavian style. The 2024 model is listed around €151,470, including many standard features like navigation, entertainment, and sun decks. Optional packages and heating systems may add to the price.

With a top speed of 51 knots, the Nordkapp Coupe 830 offers an exhilarating sailing experience. Whether you're seeking style, functionality, or high-performance, the Nordkapp Coupe 830 is a day boat that delivers on all fronts.

On the spacious deck of the Nordkapp Coupe 830, there's ample room for sports activities, making it perfect for sunbathing or enjoying water sports. The boat's speed, reaching a top of 51 knots with twin 200-250 hp Mercury Verado V6 engines, ensures an exhilarating yachting experience.
